Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?

Way less. Then again, I also had way less ideas. My muse is on an extended holiday on Hawaii.

Where did you publish/archive your stories?

LJ, DW and AO3

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in December 2012?

Les Miserables! Also known as "help I've fallen into a barricade full of pretty boys and can't get out".

What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.

Oh dear. I think the one that made me happiest while writing it was "Nothing to regret", partially because of the glee of being able to tease the prompter of said fic in person by dropping hints about how the story was going without actually saying anything >D. But the one that makes me proudest is "Now is the time for change", even though I curse at it all the time because it's a bitch to write.

Okay, NOW your most popular story

"Wedding Traditions". That one took a huge leap in popularity after Thor 2. I wonder why :P.

Story most under-appreciated by the universe?

"Now is the time for change". Yeah, I'm usually very zen about this question, but DAMMIT UNIVERSE APPRECIATE MY EFFORTS TO CREATE A HUGE SPRAWLING AU ALREADY!!!

Story that could have been better?

I'm actually happy with all of them.

Sexiest story?

I managed to pass the year without writing any outright porn. Well, except for an awkward drunk blowjob scene. But that's kind of not really that sexy because it wasn't supposed to. I guess I poured all my porn elsewhere.

Most fun story?

"Wedding Traditions"

Story with single sweetest moment?

"Nothing to regret". The ending is pure fluff, as requested.

The story that made you cry?

"Now is the time for change" manages to make me cry tears of rage.

Hardest story to write?

If you haven't noticed by now that I have a huge love/hate relationship with "Now is the time for change", you haven't been paying attention.

Easiest story to write?

"Wedding Traditions". I can always do short and silly.

Most overdue story?

All of them were spur-of-the-moment ideas. Though I guess "Man I hate Illinois Nazis" is my long overdue XM:FC fic.

Biggest surprise?

"Wedding Traditions". Silly fun fic that took off like a rocket. Whoda thought.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?

Huge sprawling AU epics are a bitch to write.

Best summary?

"Adrian hates Christmas. Because angels. Angels everywhere." ("Why angels hate Christmas")

Best opening line?

"In the end, it all came down to the fact that Enjolras didn't drink." from "Nothing to regret".

Best closing line?

“Oh, fuck me,” Tony sighed, getting to his feet unsteadily. “Jarvis, lockdown,” he said, then muttered half to himself: “Good thing my traditional New Year's resolution is being alive the next morning.” which is from "Avenge the New Year".

Did you have any writing goals for last year? Did you meet them?

My goal was to continue writing regularly. I failed spectacularly, but well, I had a rough year.

Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?

Finish "Now is the time for change". You can do it, self!
